BACKGROUND

Calvary  Templeworshipcenter was founded in 2004 by pastor mike Mataya in response to the vision the Lord had put on his heart to reach out to community innamakwekwe / Northern Division who were predominantly Muslims. The Church established its Ministry base in Namakwekwe Northern Division in Mbale Municipality. As many people received Christ as their  Lord and savior the Church membership increased in numbers, there was need for ministries to be established to reach out to both communities and other Churches within and outside Uganda.
CEMI was then established in 2011 with ground launch by it's first champion leaders conference. Today CEMI has 6 branch Church community based organization; Hope of Hopes - Africa (HOHO), Champions Christian Library, Manya Babuliyo through radio program. We are Loaded with fast-paced worship, activities, and video teachings to address real issues that affects the modern times and teaching and spreading the gospelof Salvation to every mankind
